Hydroponic Aerogarden use?

Does anyone have any experience with hydroponic systems such as the Miracle Grow Aerogarden? Nowhere in our condo gets 6 full hours of direct sunlight and I am craving some home-grown tomatoes.
 
I haven’t had any experience with them, but I hear they are good for growing indoors. I would be prepared for some greater moisture content in your air, though.
 
years ago, we used a hydroponic system to grow weed. can’t recall which one, but there’s probably not a whole lot of difference in them. we had grow lights - which were great for adjusting the amount of light to force budding after they got to the height we wanted. worked great - like, plants on steroids (the plants grew fast and lush). super clean too. the plants were happy, and the bud was phenomenal.
 
I am interested primarily in tomatoes, but will try cilantro, basil, dill and sage as well.
