My god, I hope you didn’t set that thing off while someone was sharing your bed.

That's awesome! A mechanic in the first shop I worked for in the 70's had a similar train horn mounted on the side of one of the racks. Every so often he'd walk by and put the air hose to it... holy shit! :laughing

I've been looking for a set (on the cheap) for years to mount on the outside of my garage and run an air line inside to my compressor... to use for a variety of disruptive purposes.

If anyone has heard one of these around Steven's creek res? I know who's house it is on.

Having a train horn static mounted to a building can be a blast (no pun intended).
But having one mobile, for those life moments when some dipshit is crossing the street, against the light, while they're face down into their phone
can be a life changing moment. Mostly for them, but the stomach workout from laughing is a real health benifit. For me.
And I can't tell you how MANY times I have used it to STOP someone from pulling out in front of me, and avoiding an actual crash.
One time, I was out making sales calls with the district manager. We pulled into a used car dealership that belonged to a friend of his.
Before I could stop him, he reached over and nailed the horn button. Gary, the car dealer, JUMPED in the air and DUCKED at the same time.
It was really remarkable to see a grown man, 2 feet in the air, and all scrunched down at the same time.
Gary didn't think it was funny, but Mark and I laughed for daaaaaays.
Anyway,,,,

Plenty of train horn prank videos on youtube.

Very on brand for a certain demographic of deplorables, but I do admit that the little low class white trash troll side of me finds it appealing...
