Hello BARF community!
Just found this forum and it's great to see so many passionate riders of every stripe putting down miles in the pursuit of happiness. I've just gotten back into road riding after a 20+ year hiatus to have kids and make sure the fam was well taken care of. After picking up a new stead this past June, what a year it has been! Got myself a tame but beautiful Kawasaki Z650RS to ease back into street riding, tacked a couple multiday 1000-mile trips past summer/fall and put on a few thousand more miles riding HWY1 and Sonoma/Mendocino/Napa County backroads. I sure do appreciate all the amazing ride options in our neck of the woods. Spent this last winter season upgrading the bike...suspension front and rear, brakes systems, drive line, air intake, ecu flash, exhaust...transforming the bike into solid mid-range beast relative to its humble beginnings. Now looking to hit my first track day next weekend with more to come over this summer/fall season. Bucket list is getting checked off! For anyone looking for some simi spirted canyon carving in the bay area or a bit more north or west, hit me up. Always great to meet new folks, share stories and soak up this spectacular place we call home. Ride long and be safe out there!

Welcome to BARF, Zlife! :ride
That is a mighty pretty bike you got there!

Welcome to the forum and back to two wheels. Nice steed! First go through of post and read CHUCKED OFF in lieu of checked off….thought, well not my cup of tea but to each their own 😁 (as I have already had the chucked off thingy!)

OMG!!! That's the bike I was getting ready to pull the trigger on last June when I had just given up hope on ever laying eyes on my Chinese Unicorn!

Welcome to BARF. Many spirited canyon carvers around these parts. Hope you can join a rally or five.
