trying to soak my elbow in Master Liao's but once again I got it too hot and have wait for it to cool down.
 
I'm awake and tired. Time for coffee and some work before I work, looks like we have no hot water at the moment, again. You wouldn't think boiler maintenance would be that hard, but this keeps happening :facepalm

I'd go to a hotel just for the hot water.
When there is an electric black out at my house I will go to a hotel and spend the night.
I am so very spoiled.

Was awake 1.6 hours ago.

That's what happened when I didn't "wake up to pee" during the middle of the night, I guess :( you simply wake up sooner...

yep. fancy. When I was a kid we used to go cross town when the hot water is out. (they did maintenance once a year or so) To the cousins' i.e. dad's sister/niece.. their neighborhood had hot water at the same time.

you can try to ask a friend? / close by? ;) IKIK it's a bit much if it's not a super close one

also there are gym memberships .. apparently.
 
walked outside, for 12 mins, saw 2-3 dog poops.

1-2 were dribbles but one was a big loogie RIGHT on the curb.

Found a $1 dollar bill on the ground yesterday, as I exited the car. In the travel lane!!!

... later on went to move the car and rashed the wheel at the curb. So sad... it's more than three times now... :(

We have a 2019 Grand Touring reserve turbo.

Great car but poor mpg but as we don't put more than 3000 miles on it a year, not that big a deal.

If you want a non turbo note that some have cylinder deactivation so perhaps a good reason to get a turbo as they don't have that or start/stop.

Friend just bought a 2026 CX30 which is a wee bit smaller so try one of those as well.

Doesn't have cylinder deactivation or start stop which is nice even though is a non turbo.

  • 2018 and newer: The cylinder deactivation system was introduced with the 2018 model year on the 2.5L SKYACTIV-G engine.
  • Not all models: While it's a standard feature for most non-turbo 2.5L CX-5s from 2018 onward, some 2024 and 2025 models may not have it depending on specific configurations, so checking the VIN is recommended for absolute certainty.
