So basically people are starting to agree all over the USA that even if the temperature on paper feels like it's not as cold as Minnesota let's say—- It actually feels colder over here, because of the dampness.

About all of those midwesterners that say blah blah blah this is no winter we have snow yada yada they arrive here

... And they start feeling cold.

That said, I still wouldn't want to be in New York City like when I visited one January and it was 8 or 10 degrees, depending on the day..(I was bundled up and it was still cold )
 

It was -50 degrees for three days in a row In Wisconsin in February the year I moved to California.
