They got that big fire across the street put out? Couple hundred acres- closed Mines Rd for awhile.

That Cal Fire update says it’s 100% contained.
Doesn’t mean the fire is out though.

Maybe by Friday it will be a different story.

The ride listed above is for 3PM, Friday which is the hottest time of day to be heading up the hill. Temp estimated to be 91deg+.
Also, the Junction is closed on Fridays. Plus, there tends to be a little more traffic the latter part of the day with locals returning home.

Yep, well I wouldn't be going regardless. I work until 6:00 and daughter has to be at SFO tomorrow at 7:30.

Group rides are few and far between on BARF (meetups happen more often), just wanted to pass this along in case.
