Hello All, I have very depressing news. Roxy (ZX6Roxy to some) didn't survive the commute home yesterday.

It happened around 3:30 yesterday near Tresure Island on 80 East (You can find details in the CHP blotter - http://www.genepilot.com/CHP/showIncidents.php).

No words... just sadness.

No details on arrangements yet. I'll post when I know something. Send prayers to those she left behind. :rose

**ADMIN EDIT: Roxy Canent Turner will have her Celebration of life this Friday. December 2nd.
Duggan's Serra Mortuary 500 Westlake Ave Daly City
The service starts at 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm**

Rest In Peace, Roxy. Your surviving friends and family are in my thoughts.

Got the text this AM from a good friend. Immediately saddened.

A founding member and friend to many here.

:rip Roxy

Condolences to family, friends and all she touched :rose

I read Sean’s post this morning and immediately felt that familiar gut punch.
Roxy was a force to say the least. I need to focus on the fact that my life was brightened having met this incredible woman.
Thank you for posting Doug.
RIP Roxy…
… long may you run
:rose

I read Sean's post on FB and it took me a while to fully process it. I first met Roxy when we worked in the parts department of a certain SF motorcycle dealership years ago and we remained good friends ever since. She was an amazing young woman and was absolutely fearless in anything she pursued.

Godspeed my friend. :rose

Nonononononononononooooo..... We haven't seen each other for years, but I knew her decently and we hung out frequently in the past. :rose

What a bummer, didn't know her and it sounds like I missed out on meeting a great person. RIP rider.

:(

So sad to hear. She was such a unique person. I would say RIP, but anybody who knew her knows she is definitely not resting up there. She is testing boundaries and going 100% showing everybody else what is possible. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Met Roxy many years ago watching MotoGP at my buddy's place and she was recovering from her MTB incident. Recently got in touch again and super happy for her & Sean. She never change at all, the same high energy person who loves everyone precious to her. We couldn't lined up schedules for Downieville nor Northstar but she's super concern when she hear of my concussion. I'm loss for words, empty and emotional she's suddenly gone....and on my birthday too.

Godspeed Roxy. You're a wonderful person who is always true to yourself and never pretentious. Don't stop doing what you love up there, keep sending. We'll miss you & be there for Sean.
