Let the chopping begin!!! :party

First and foremost, I am in need of a non-broken front fender for the TZR250 3XV front end for this project. Please notify me if you know the whereabouts of one.

This build will be documented on your favorite YouTube channel.

1985 RZ350 Original California Motorcycle

This was another abandoned project I collected some time ago. On 7/20/14.

Jumping on this project right away, I needed some silencers for those cool expansion chambers.

8/23/14 These were delivered by Frame Maker today TZMike CF Cans

And almost ten years later
12/4/23

Frame, suspension, expansion chambers, and engine rebuild/modifications were performed by Brian Turfrey about 15 years ago.

If BT built it we know it was done right!

1442 no less! :thumbup

Nice! The banana arm looks fab with the BT pipes. That's going to be a ripper.

Could this be the excuse I've been looking for to try out my new plastic welder:dunno Although the fender looks good in the photos. Is there a crack that isn't visible?

Can you spy the missing piece in this photo? There are additional cracks and defects also that could easily be plastic welded, but the missing piece is missing.

This will be a nice build Ken. The running gear looks great on there

Thanks Paul. Give me a month or 24 and we'll see how this one turns out.

12/5/23 & 12/6/23 EP2

I am in need of the following for this project:
1. TZR250 3XV Not broken front fender, color does not matter
2. 99-05 R6 no dent no rust fuel tank, color does not matter
3. 06-07 R6 seat

The motorcycle requires stripping to the frame for some mods to be done by our favorite fabricator mad scientist Frame Maker.

Some pics of the BT frame mods.

I used to run R6 body work on my Gamma. I'll look and see if I still have a seat and rear section. Your Bike is coming along nicely.

Thanks Lonster. If you can find a seat that would be great. Yeah, it's coming along but as you know some of this early stuff goes quick. It's the details later that will take (at least me) forever.

Well, none of the R6 stuff was found. Sorry.
On the good side, I did find a bunch of original blue and white Gamma body work, plastics and windshields that I didn't remember having stored in the back corner of the garage.
I'll ask around about the seat unit.

Thanks for checking. The R6 seat unit required is now changed to 06-07 (not 05).
