Satellite radio

I tried to get my XM radio to work in my office, but I couldn't get a signal since I was in an inside office at the time, no windows. It should work if you have a window, though. I have a window office now....hmm, I'll give it a try soon :).

IF you have a XM account, for a couple extra bucks a month you can get streaming XM. Sure it's not as great, but it works well none the less.

From xmradio.com.

XM radio right now is $12.95 a month.

Listen to XM RADIO ONLINE to receive XM's commercial-free music channels and more streamed to you over the Internet anytime, anywhere you have a computer with Microsoft Windows Media Player. XM Radio Online will be included as part of basic service on April 2, 2005.
Until April 2, 2005, an additional premium service charge of $3.99/month applies. Basic service is required to activate XM Radio Online.

oh yeah, starting in April XM is upping the monthly fee. They'll also include XM Radio Online, so it's ok. No need for an XM receiver in the office :).

Thanks for the tip on XM Radio Online!

No problem, since rates are going up, and online XM is included, hate to see you buy the boombox and have it not work indoors.... :laughing

I'm using XM Radio Online for the first time today and it's pretty sweet :thumbup.

hhmm Sirius is 12.95 a month and that includes the streaming radio.
