** SPOILERS!** Random Motorcycle thoughts unworthy of a new thread

Maybe a Hornet? The gas tank looks right...

I'm seeing a fair amount of braking...

^^^Yup. Brake lights and four fingers on the lever.

of course when I decided to take out my frame sliders to replace them, I dropped the bike on public roads 😭

frankly a skill issue on my part. I thought CHP was flagging a car in front of me on hwy 9 and I thought I could just scoot over and pass them but the officer intended to stop traffic entirely.

I braked a quite hard (did not trigger ABS so that’s a win!), came to a pretty hard stop, and could not find my balance as it was a downhill road on somewhat of a turn. Rest is history.

Bike seems to be mechanically fine. No weird shift. Quickshifter works just fine too so… I don’t think I need to fix the shifter assembly anytime soon?

Saw this while vintage watch shopping in Chinatown NYC...
It was a hole in the wall shop so spidey senses were on high BS alert.
They wanted $600

For those unfamiliar, the outer plastic case is shaped like a helmet with a lift up visor. Pretty cool

No, like I said, hole in the wall shop, kind of sketchy.
I wouldn't buy something like that without some kind of authentication possible.
Also way more than I would spend on a watch/collectable.

I've seen them before in person. Pretty sure it's legit.

I would give the toe shifter a couple love taps until I could see some light between the shifter and the rod :thumbup

If you have a World Superbike Video Pass this is something you might want to tune into. My gut says it will be on YouTube at the end of the season.
