Thunderhill T12 Changes?

So we've seen the news on Thunderhill's 2-month closing. Sounds like they're replacing all of the curbing with FIA/FIM curbing and grinding down pavement to the base and doing a very large repaving job, but I also saw in their video that they're making changes to T12.

Does anyone have insight into the changes they're making? Straightening it out or curving it more for safety?
 
They are digging up 6" of the track, a entire rebuild.

Modular curbs. Rumor of $12M for the 3 miles. Wild stuff.

Can't wait to see what they do with T12.
 
yeah, looks like they are moving that first right handed apex back a little as to make it "straighter"... just like everyone be cutting through there! LoL!
