what's the craziest 'ish u ever ran over?!?

I ran over a big-ass cardboard box on 101 a while back. It fell out of a truck in front of me and I couldn't avoid it. I thought for sure I was gonna eat shit on the freeway. Surprisingly, my tires didn't slip.

i managed to take out a steel gas can with my foot. had to go to the er to get my toe nail removed and stiches under the nails. :mad

1 baby deer. It ran off and I'm not going to stomp through the Berkeley woods looking for it, either.

Well, I didn't run it over, but it could've ran ME over.

Sunday morning on my way to Babe's to watch MotoGP. I was pulling out from the ARCO station on Blossom Hill and Monterey. Look to my left to see if it's clear and what do I see but this fucking wheel flying/bouncing down the offramp by itself!

:wtf

A couple seconds later the van that the wheel belonged to comes around the ramp sparks flying everywhere from it's right-rear hub.

Then as I'm sitting there wondering what the hell is going on I hear a loud "KA-CLUNK!" as the brake drum fell off the hub.

:laughing

Ran over a 6' ladder on 880. Ran straight over it. Almost ate it, but had control of my bike. Very scary.:teeth

But did you get the couch? Wow, what a find.

Could've added it to the rest of my interesting roadside debris collection.....

The scariest thing I ever ran over on a bike was water - I was riding home from work after a big rain storm, and had to cross a creek via a bridge that sat in a depression. Either by poor design or poor construction, water had collected on the bridge surface and stood about 2 feet deep. Since it was dark out and the roads were wet, the standing water simply looked like the rest of the road, so I continued to head through it at about 35-40 mph. The water was so deep that it slowed me by at least 10 mph when I hit it, and it knocked my feet from my pegs so hard that my heels hit my mufflers. I sang soprano for days after that - the slightest twitch would've thrown me off the bike and over the side of the bridge....
