Daniel's been on the forum for awhile, and I know he has quite a few friends on here. I just got an e-mail from his Dad, that Daniel was in a pretty bad crash yesterday afternoon around 5pm on SR1 down in San Luis Obispo. He's at Sierra Vista Hospital. He was knocked unconscious, and has a badly broken arm that will require surgery to fix.

I don't have many details on what happened- he doesn't remember the details yet, and it will be awhile before the CHP finish their reports.

According to his parents, when they spoke with him this morning, he's in good spirits (I'm guessing due to the fantastic drugs the hospital is kind enough to provide!), and the only serious injury is the broken arm.

As I get more information, I'll update.

Daniel, glad you came through this with just broken bones and destroyed gear!! When insurance releases the bike, we'll make arrangements to get it up here.
Heal up quickly, and I'll come visit you when you're relocated up here! :)

Crap, Heal Up Daniel !

Daniel (Junkie) is down.....

Vampires M/C SLO Road Captain Daniel went down yesterday evening on Highway 1 just outside of San Luis Obispo. He has no clear memory of the accident. The CHP have informed us a "tourist or foreign driver" was involved. Daniel suffered some rash and a broken wrist (at the radius) and is currently in Hospital awaiting surgery.

I'll post a pic of the motherfucker in all his hospital bed glory shortly. In the meantime I'm sure he'd appreciate your support.

Anyone with the title Road Captain does not deserve to be hit by a tourist. Get healed up!

Take care Daniel and heal up quick! Update us when you get a chance.
