Anyone have shop recommendations for replacing tires around San Bruno? I'd prefer to take the wheels and tires in, not the whole bike.

Edit:
For anyone else interested, ended up finding Motorious Speed Shop in San Bruno (FKA Jlk Precision Motorcycles).

$50 to mount and balance a pair off the bike and done within an hour. Didn't charge me extra to dispose of some extra tires. Super friendly.

I'd go to our very own MotoTireGuy:

http://www.mototireguy.com

'Surprised no one has mentioned him.

I go to him, but he's well into the city and I go out of my way for his services. I've been to both places mentioned here (not for tires though) and they're both good shops.motomadness looks like a cruiser shop from outside but they work on everything

I thought the mototireguy moved to (almost) SSF? Last time I used his service it was pretty easy to get to from San Mateo, no SF hassles.

Pretty sure Catalyst Reaction can help you out

I just had my rear tire changed at motorcycle madness, brought in off the bike. It was either $25 or $30 and it was ready in an hour or so, no appointment. As much as I like mototireguy it's hard to beat that deal since they're 5 minutes from me. Comparisons sake norcal cycles wanted $50, a bit steep.

Maybe, I know he moves often. I've been going to him since he was off of ocean.

I planned to go to mototireguy, but he was in Baja.

I heard a rumor that he's back. and he's only moved 2 times in the last 350 years.

There is something that Moto-Tire Guy offers with every tire service that you don't get anywhere else.

1. Good information and advice on tire pressure, and other tire related issues

2. Almost always finds something on your bike that needs attention

3. Great coffee and snacks next door.

He had two spots off of junipero serra near ocean that were fairly close together, then the spot on towland, then the spot in HP where the DB Challenge is (handy during the event with all the burnouts) and it looks like he's still there according to the website.

I do appreciate his attention to detail with regards to tire pressures and he's more than willing to give his opinion about what tire to get for your style of riding. Still, for people that don't want to drive/ride into the city (can't blame them) motorcycle madness in San Bruno is the best deal going that I've seen for peninsula people.
