Men's fashion, how far will it go?

@Climber I don’t think you understood my points, at all.

“You wouldn’t say that if you knew my life” sounds a lot like “I can’t be racist because I have a black friend”. Hyperbole, but I don’t know how else to describe how that sentence comes across.

My opinions on fashion have nothing to do with your toxic and homophobic words. You called the menswear hideous because it looks like womenswear, or at least your post read that way. And you insinuated that gay menswear is also hideous. Your opinions weren’t only about the clothes. You are also providing (negative) opinions about women and gay men. That’s the toxic part. No one cares if you dislike some fashion - everyone does. How/why you dislike them matters, at least when interacting with people.

At a minimum, you can type better.
I thinik that you're assigning far more than I said.
You didn't answer my question, does that mean you've never seen some outfit at a fashion show to be hideous to you?
You're drawing conclusions that go well beyond my words.

Is this available in big & tall sizes? It seems to have that slimming effect I'm looking for. :laughing

No he's not. You made an association between "hideous for men" and "feminine/gay" You are refusing to recognize where your judgment of "hideous" came from. I think It is coming from the patriarchy we grew up with. If you don't want to wear something because you don't like it, that's fine. Anything after that is a judgment you are making out of your own biases. Biases rooted in dogma. I know your not racist or conservative Brett. I'm not coming down on you or saying your a bad person. I'm asking you to examine and understand where your biases come from. Patriarchy effects men too. It says what is and isn't acceptable "as a man." I think it does us men a lot of good to pick that apart and understand it.

No, I’m telling you how people will perceive your words and getting a few upvotes in agreement. Your intent behind those words is never the whole story. You’ll communicate better if you consider other’s perception when they read your words. If you were a woman or a gay man, how would you perceive all of your posts here…

Hell, you could have replied “oh sorry, didn’t mean it that way”. Instead you chose to double down. That also looks bad. Sadly cliche too.

I dont care what other people wear. I think some things people wear look stupid. This goes for men and women. I wear athletic wear 99% of the time or hawaiian shirts so people judge me too idc.

Are we going to see a trend of men wearing increasingly short skirts with nothing under?

Will the laws be applied different for a guy flashing his junk than a woman flashing hers?

If I had calves like that I would never wear pants.
I have calves like that and living in the south means I wear shorts pretty much all the time and my wife loves it. Now if she could just get me out of my baggy shorts into something more buttock defining she would be in heaven. :ROFLMAO:

My brother who works in a men's dept at a Nordstrom's in Miami has fashion sense.

I have none.

I hate you. But I want your wife to lust after you so… here ya go. If 5” is too revealing give the 7” a shot. I have 3 pairs of this brands running shorts and they are worth the price. 100’s of washes, daily demanding use during activities and they just keep going.

Stretchy materials have made tighter shorts a lot more enjoyable. I usually go for golf or stretchy denim shorts because you get good pockets for keys, wallet, & phone.

Of course I type this while wearing 5” workouts shorts for the gym today.

Is that really your concern? Fashion shows have alwaqsy been outrageous and pushing the boundaries of what anyone would call a style.

I also have calves like that. Just the way I am built.
