Isn't pot considered a performance enhancing drug in snowboarding?

Maybe if there's a giant fucking Hershey bar at the end of the run :laughing

(You can thank Robin Williams for that one!)

Isn't it just a revisit of these things?

And yeah, nicotine sux. I used to chew and smoke and it's all bad. Been about 27 years and don't miss it one bit.

Caffeine is more addictive than Nicotine. Try quiting caff for one year. I did and it was hell. I slept great but was in a mental fog for a whole year.

Smokers are mildly addicted to nicotine but with the smoke comes all sorts of crap like MAOI's that is the real addiction. The demonization of nic is the mafia/govt protecting their taxes and settlement fees. I know at least 5 people that were able to wean off cigs using vapes. Why are vapes being demonized? The question answers itself.

Why are vapes demonized? Because inhaling vaporized propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin combined with flavoring esters is nearly as harmful to your health as inhaling tobacco smoke?

Maybe also because douchebags think it's ok to blow their vape clouds anywhere, including indoors.

tobacco alternatives are best used to get away from inhaling smoke

Calling bs on your 'Caffeine is more addicting the nicotine' statement. It's not supported by evidence. But I get where you're coming from.

Jordan Peterson and his instagram doctor bro squad say that nicotine is good for you.

Sounds crazy, I know. Medical "authorities" say the acute caffeine withdrawal symptoms (headache, aches, grumpyness, disturbed sleep, etc.) lasts a few weeks or a month and then you are fine. Not true. There is also post-acute withdrawal which was a year of mental fog and grayness of life that never lifted. I quit caffeine for a year as a personal test to see how it was affecting me. I'd bet the vast majority of caffeine addicts could not make it a full year without it. People quit nicotine (or more precisely MOAI's in cig smoke) all the time and are fine except occassional cravings like after a meal or whatever which is an associational craving that fade with time.

You are completely wrong. Here’s a copy/paste from Google:

Nicotine is significantly more addictive than caffeine. Nicotine causes powerful physical and psychological dependence, often ranked alongside heroin or cocaine in addiction potential. While caffeine is a stimulant that can cause dependence, its addiction potential is considered mild, with far less intense withdrawal symptoms compared to nicotine.

Addiction is entirely dependent on individual brain chemistry. Some people can put one substance down, but not another. Some can put them all down, although they are usually replacing one with another. That's why not everyone that's ever had a drink or smoked a cigarette is addicted.
If it's the substance alone that causes the addiction, how would one explain a gambling addiction? Or continuing to ride dangerously fast on a motorcycle? It's all about the chemical reaction inside the brain... and what that brain tells it's slave (you!) to go get it more of.

All other things being equal, nicotine is much more addictive than heroin. Fact.
