I also purchased one of these recently. Haven't used it yet, but I am carrying it on the bike with a plug kit and other tools.

And, I mean, I don't know, but the Canyon is to the Colorado what the Sierra is to the Silverado, right?

Similar trucks with the GMC being a higher trim, right?

I saw a nice Colorado the other day. ZR2 I think. Very sharp looking.

I completely agree that a 6' bed would have been great on the GM or Ford small trucks
I believe only the Tacoma and Frontier have 6' option

I don’t know the differences between a Sierra and Silverado, even though I’ve been driving a Silverado daily for the past five years.

When shopping I checked out the Colorados as well and seemed they could be configured the same as a Canyon.

You’re getting the same truck no matter the badge

Tacoma has both a 5’ and 6’ option.
I like that the Tacoma has port injection in addition to direct injection. That’s an advantage over the Canyon but I don’t see me racking up a ton of miles very quickly on this thing so didn’t let it factor in much.
 
As I mentioned I’ve been driving a Silverado for the past five years and has the same 2.7 turbo engine at 50k miles with no issues. I doubt I’ll hit 50k miles in the next decade with the Canyon and no plans to tow anything so durability won’t be stretched.

I got the premium and the tech packages so more expecting something to go wrong there than with the engine.
