Post your dog pics!

Be sure to have him chipped. The first thing the humane society/vet/dog pound does is scan dogs for chips. That almost assures you will get him back.

It's the law in addition to proof of rabies shots to get him out. Those should have been in the system. Anyhow, that's how we got him back.

The lady that picked him up actually works at the SPCA and not a clinic. The local clinic said to take him there. They gave him an exam and x-rays (because he's a little bow-legged), but the lady wanted to buy him so she paid the bill and said it was OK. He's not for sale.

Recent activities at home prompted me to send this to the kid.
Zora :love Those eyes. OMG! Naughty girl, they seem to know how much they can get away with then manipulate you into thinking they're cute.

Bruno got his nails clipped today... he screamed like a big baby and I had to hold him in a head lock. :x
I found Donna on a yelp and she was fantastic! 40 yrs experience... a great find. I highly recommend!

This is how we do Zora’s nails. It trips her ‘off switch’. She just hangs there while the clipper and dremel do their thing.

Wow, that's a great idea... I'm definitely gonna try that with Bruno!
He was an absolute nightmare... screaming, thrashing and biting! We had to muzzle him and I could barely hold his head under my arm while she clipped. Once she was done, he was totally fine again.

I just pay $25 to my groomer. Somehow Farkle walks away happy. 😃

I just ordered a sling for Bruno. We'll give it a try... if nothing else, it will be a fun experiment.

My previous dog was super easy too, he'd let anyone do anything to him. Bruno is still a puppy (for another month), but he is definitely non-compliant! :laughing
(from what I see on the utube, it is not uncommon for his breed(s)... especially when dealing with the front feet)

I think dogs are puppies for 2 years... and seems at 3 they settle into real dog status.

True... Max started to calm down around two years old. I never did have him neutered. I suspect it will be necessary with Bruno, but I want to wait until he's a 1.5 years, to make sure he's fully developed physically.

:bday Bruno is a Birthday Boy!
He will get a special tuna & kibble dinner tonight.
We both survived his first year and he's turned into a fine young dog!
He should (hopefully) be around well into my 70's. If I want another dog at that point, I will adopt an adult dog. I'm hoping to be done with babies and puppies now. :laughing
