It's all good, brotha. You've known me for years around here. I like to think most of our talks and interactions are a good thing.

I said what I said still in the mindset of my friend that died. But that's not a valid excuse and it's not really in my nature to lash out like that.
 
To chime in, the comment about MJ was in response to a post saying the movie was interrupted because he was notified his friend Jay had passed away. Worse yet it was the daughter that found him.

Context is everything, I think commenting about MJ with no recognition of the loss is disrespectful as all get out.

I dunno about a lot of this but I know I need coffee and after a week of excess-ellent good times in Colorado I need to get my sleep back on track. But that sounds like a tomorrow problem to me.

I used to rail on lou. But I never called him old etc. I guess that context is everything, sure. But are we going to call out tux for his random shit that often follows sensitive discussion? AE for the same? How many times has someone listed something very sensitive only to be followed with "I just saw a lady. She was trying to turn right from the middle lane. You know who said you know what. Maybe next time she'll turn left."?

We are picking and choosing who we allow to shit post. I get that STGUY has passed a lot of people here off, myself included. But to sit here and call him out for his behavior while we allow others to do the same is hypocritical at best.
 
This is not exactly how I thought this discussion between all of us would go. But I think it's a good thing. We are all VERY different people that happen to have motorcycles as a part of our personalities in common.

Lou drove off many newer BARFers with his overly aggressive attack dog behavior.

I was not a fan of his though he was capable of posting some interesting life stories when not wearing the shithead hat.
