It was a great ride. Rode a couple of the best roads I've done in Cali while up there. Mineral King, 25 miles of sweet goat trail with spectacular views. 245 and Dry Creek going south from 180 to 198, excellent technical twisties will a great rythym opening up to full throttle sweepers and straights and the bottom.

Great pics.

I'm headed down that way in a few weeks. Thanks for tips on the roads. I've ridden 245 but not Dry Creek or 180.

Sawtooth Peak and Mineral Peak. I was planning to climb one of those peaks, but there was a fire burning in Sequoia and the haze was pretty bad.

I rode Dry Creek Rd. between 180 and 198 last weekend. Had to find it after reading this ride report. Looks like I have to take my DRZ down there next summer to explore the rest of the area.

Thanks for the tip on Dry Creek Road.

I think you can see its shadow on the ground
just a different angle
