I've been on BARF for a short time, but I've read a lot of negative things people have to say about Harley Davidsons and their riders.

Go to Pier 23 in San Francisco on a Sunday and let your voice be heard. I'm sure you will find plenty of interested parties who will find your views stimulating. You are guaranteed a response. Make sure to wear your pads and helmet, even if you drive or arrive by bus. It's not the Internet, but you still need a good firewall.

It's the Bay Area Riders Forum, not the HD Haters Forum. So expect all kinds of riders on here. To be clear, I'm not threatening anyone. I'm just saying, if you really feel that strongly about HD riders, there is a place you can go to voice your opinion face to face. No need to hide behind your keyboard. Btw, I don't own or ride a Harley. I have a lot of friends who do, though. They don't ride drunk. They're not old hairy saggy animals. They have excellent riding skills. They even are good family people! I'm just laughing at all the ridiculous generalizations I'm reading about HD bikes & riders on this forum.

So I offer you haters a solution. An outlet. A way to make your voice heard.

Btw, after a ride to the pier, we usually roll out and go for a nice long ride. We don't spend the whole day sitting around, not riding. Also, there's nothing vague about anything I wrote. You all serioulsly sound like a bunch of #%^'s!

What was vague was your reference to the pier. You assume that people on this forum have an idea of what goes on at Pier 23. Personally, I have no clue. Care to fill us in? Is this a common destination for cruiser riders? FWIW, I generally stay as far away from the piers as possible due to the tourist congestion.

And I'd voice my opinion about Harleys too; like'um, but not enough to buy one, and I'd also voice my opinion about Harley riders; have nothing but respect for my many friends who are the real deal, and I don't fear any violent repercussions from telling some wannabee yuppie that I think he's a phony -Blood? tons of ppl ride their halreys & muscle cars down to pier23 on summer Sundays and hang out. It almost looks like a bike & car show. It's a great chance for a Harley hater to be heard.

good for you. I feel the same way. Some things I've read on BARF could easily lead to a confrontation in person. I'm making fun of people who talk loads of shit online but get quieter than Helen Keller when a real life opportunity presents itself.
