This is probably one of, if not the most retarded thread I have seen on barf.

We always preach to each other that squids and such folks as the "revvers" give motorcycles a bad name. After reading this thread, its not those people that give motorcycles a bad name, its all of you people that do. Just fawking stupid. :|

If this was a harley-bashing thread, there'd be threats of suspension. Those knuckle-draggers ultimately resort to threats of fisticuffs after the cries of 'jealousy' get them nowhere. :devil

Well there is a reason for that.

Depends who's opinion you are referring to when you speak of "giving motorcyclists a bad name".

It appears you are referring to barfers, as that's who's reading this thread.
This is nothing to to most barfers.;)

I was speaking of folks in the real world- car enthusiasts, locals, cyclists and motorcyclists that went to Alices on that peaceful morning, who we're then annoyed by said individual.

Squids* and Rev'ers do give motorcyclists a bad name in my opinion, makes us all look bad in the eyes of riding AND non-riding folks.

*Squid= squirrely kid, dangerous, seeming out of control, etc.

Or you could say that they make the rest of us look good by comparison. Cup half full type thinking. :thumbup Just trying to put a good spin on it.

I was riding with Philippe Sunday on 84

I was riding with Philippe Sunday on 84, and there are a lot of blank spots I have regarding this crash. But one thing not mentioned is that behind the 848 White Ducati, was a red Ducati, that bike actually hit me. Luckily the impact was small, he fell down. I parked and ran to the guy on the Ducati who ended up about ten feet in front of me, I never saw the guy on the red Ducati again. I've played this over and over in mind and still can't figure out why the guy on the white Ducati was traveling the direction he was to hit Philippe. One guy on this thread said he was making a left on a right hand turn. That actually makes the most sense. The impact was so horrific, and what with the white Ducati flipping in the air by me and the red Ducati heading straight for me, well for the life of me I can't place some of what happened. The guy on the red Ducati however must have seen everything. He disappeared. At some point he rode off, not sure if gave a statement, I wasn't watching him. If it was me, I would have required about any damage I did and maybe talk. Does anyone know someone that might know this guy. His bike did fall over and there must have been some damage. I was riding an old 72 Suzuki GT380, Philippe was on the Green Commando. Only way he could have gone was west, to LDD.
