Or you could say that they make the rest of us look good by comparison. Cup half full type thinking. :thumbup Just trying to put a good spin on it.

By the expressions on the non-moto patrons faces that I saw (at least on the porch, especially the table next to ours) I don't think they saw it that way...

Oh no I am all for the rev'ing. If said Ducati did in any way damage their opinion of us REAL bikers I assume that you sought to educate them and let them know that this behavior is in no way indicative of REAL bikers. You did do that didn't you? Don't tell me you could not pull yourself away from those damn eggs. :twofinger

Why can't he just rev it for himself and not care what y'all think? IMO assuming it was just for attention is petty.

Oh but I couldn't, they're so damned good. Shh, don't tell anyone, but I didn't even notice while it was happening, I actually just heard about it after wards when everyone around me was talking about how cool some guy on some fancy dancer bike looked. As pointed out before, I have my priorities now. :x

I saw this guy leave LDD early in the morning....funny shit, everyone, I mean everyone heard him leave. Rolling eyes...clapped out jokes...:laughing...yet no post about it.

If that was the case, he would have simply done it in his garage. That we he wouldnt wear down those uber spensive tires or have to clean it when it back into the garage

If you rev in the garage you have to worry about getting tinnitus!

Good question. Why can't he rev it for himself? In the privacy of his own home? Behind closed doors? That's where masturbation belongs.

:laughing

Riiiight...he was revving it for his own enjoyment continuously outside of a restaurant and store. The only restaurant and store for miles.

There's a lot of arguing for its own sake on this thread.

Perhaps, and if that is the case then we are wrong in assuming otherwise. That still does not change the fact that it was not the best time and place to do so (by some collective opinion).

It was a public place. Even if you argue that it was "Alice's" parking lot until they put up a "no rev zone" sign. I feel he is entitled to rev, and eggs bendict eaters are entitled to over react.

Alices at a ducati event sounds like a perfect place to make the vroom vroom noises.

Sure it does. And being one THE awesome-est bike evar makes it even more so. Not everyone there necessarily knew that it was Ducati day a little down 84 though, so their perspective of that may be different.

I'm screwed!! I am fairly new to BARF and own both a Ducati and a Harley. I'll never make any friends.....

thinks he/she has a myspace page just for the 'deci :rolleyes
