To the desmosedici rev'ing at Alices Sunday morning....

Personally, no. In fact, the video of you wheeling around doesn't annoy me at all. The fact that you, as a motorcyclist, are angst about a momentary disruption of your cheap-a$$ breakfast, by another motorcyclist's momentary indiscretion, is quite annoying and hypocritical to me. It just reminds me of all the BARF members suspended while Vampire members are set free.

I hope that I am never a hypocrite. And if I am, you can bust my big blue balls about it.

So as motorcyclists we can't be annoyed with the actions of fellow motorcyclists?

Even if those actions only strengthen the negative stereotype and increase the hate that seems to be bestowed upon us by the general public?

Esp when such actions are juvenile and pointless?

Apparently, you missed the whole damn point of my post, didn't you?

Ancient Chinese proverb:

If a desmo rev's in a garage, and there is no one around to hear it, does it make Mort angry?

If you've ever met Mort, you'd know this guy must have been douche'in it up pretty good for him to actually post about :p

I have, and I agree. But, you left the door wide open with that post

(see if a tree falls in the woods)

No, I did not. Using potential hypocrisy to justify the (retarded) actions of another motorcyclist doesn't fly with me.

Kudos to you and your efforts to remain non-hypocritical. I'd rather be a hypocrite than a silent sheep.

where's the poll, man?

I wish to offer my most urgent contribution and in preemptive selection this is what I shall say the order must be:

1) If too much beer last night, Eggs benedict with a side of bacon
2) Mortifer must practice Mt. Hamilton Wheelies on camera more but blip the throttle mid stroke in a sexsssy way that makes us all understand what a big middle appendage might be.
3)Fuck I duno.
4) Corndogs for all the chopped GP EXXHAUSTS.
5) Wait: A hwy 9 thread with no accident/injuries? Nice. glad to hear the only offense was aural.
7) 6 wasn't worth posting.
8) when talking to friends in person (!!!) do you make sure to accentuate the "SE" in "desmoSEdici" to impress them that you know it's 16 valves?
9) I think eggs benedict looks like something really nasty just ruptured.
10) OK 9 was gross. Kudos if you can still clean your plate.

kisses,
Adam

Your two posts Sunday tell anyone that has a rational mind quite a bit about you.

I was at LDD last year when a CHP car stopped in front and ANNOUNCED on his PA that oil was DUMPED on the road about a mile west. My bad for taking LEO's word that was AT THE SCENE, over yours.

You may want to check your sources, because Doc Wong (as johnc has mentioned in a separate thread) worked with the LEO's and many of the locals to see how the oil got there.

If you've ever watched a CSI episode, even you would see that the oil spill pattern is not from a split case, or broken end case. the grind marks that are evident occured AFTER the oil was poured on the road surface.

Now get out and RIDE!! :ride

I'm confused why you think I'd like to own a desmo, you don't know SHIT about me, don't assume things.:|
I have no interest in owning any ducati, but that doesn't mean I don't think they are amazing and beautiful machines.
I was not casting hate on the bike, or ducati, I was saying the guy reving his ducati was annoying me and most of Alices.

I heard the oil thing from a reliable source and still believe it to be a bike accident, I wasn't there when it hit the ground, where you? if not, then we're both going by hearsay, how dare you call me a liar.

more on the oil from last year.

Have you seen the breakfast prices at Alice's? For that kind of cash I'd only let desmosidicis interrupt my eggs benedict.

I agree 100% eggs benedict looks nasty. So are all runny eggs. Looks like some mucus like yellow snot. When people eat them around me I gag. Sometimes I put the menu up on the table or use the ketchup bottle as a nausea shield. People should eat runny eggs at home instead of douching it up for those of us who are made ill by it.

Wow! Sorry. I never knew you were such a sensitive soul. Have you checked to see if there's a runny-eggs-make-me-hurl :barf support group for you?

Yes, I agree. While it certainly looked like someone purposefully spilled oil on the road, I got a call from another reliable person that it was a motorcycle that crashed spilling the oil and knew the riders that were involved.

The spill across the road was the result of dragging the motorcycle to the other side of the road.

I'm glad it wasn't malicious after all, especially on a day where we raise about $10,000 for the La Honda Volunteer Fire Dept.

I do wish I had known that it was caused by a bike crash as it would have saved me a bit of work and from unnecessary meetings with the various police departments and a county supervisor.:(
