Forgot to set my ISO, so these are a bit darker... btw, on the way home after having lunch with Jeff in Vallejo, I got pulled over by VPD and for a brief moment they had me sitting on the sidewalk because my bike came up as stolen when they ran it through their system. Glad one of the officers was a rider himself and he didn't believe the bike was stolen. His partner I think was ready to cuff me.

So what happened with the po-po? Did he enter your info in wrong and come up with a stolen bike or something?

I got pulled over coz my bike matched the bike that ran from them (guess he got away). They ran my VIN coz I didn't have my plates yet as part of procedure. Last 4 of the VIN matched...but one of the LEOs ran it again to try a full match. Funny thing is I showed them my insurance card with the VIN on it. Cop said that would've been the 1st time he's seen someone insure a stolen ride.

I wasn't worried until they made me sit on the curb, then hands started to cover their guns. Made for a very interesting day!

Afterwards I went down to the local pub and had a burger and a beer. While sitting there I was reading the local rag and saw that State wide CHP and local agencies were doing a motorcycle crackdown... Then as I drove home I saw 3 CHP bike cops chillling on an overpass, one w/ a radargun and the other 2 just lying in wait....

Sorry to hear they wasted your time but atleast that's all they did, was waste it. Still, you should have asked them to cuff you and take a pic for prosperity purposes.

As long as you knew you did nothing wrong, you had nothing to worry about. Funny thing, I saw you ride past me again on the south side of Vallejo. I think on Ascot Parkway.
