How to get here from bart? Turns out I may end up in the city about that time.
 
Mcarb, easiest would be to get off at Montgomery bart, walk the few blocks to geary and catch an outbound 38 bus. I warn you, around 5 or 6 the 38 will be packed. It won't hurt to be fashionably late. Get of one stop after masonic and you're all good.

Click on the 38 Outbound Weekdays link

Tell the driver you want to go to the intersection of Geary & Wood (close to Geary & Masonic) and ask him to announce your stop.
