Is anyone running 06/07 GSXR 600/750 fairings on an 08/09 bike?

I recently picked up an '09 GSXR 600 bike and am thinking about running a spare set of '07 GSXR 600 bodywork that I have laying around. I'm wondering how hard it is to do this and what parts (if any) I'll need to accomplish this.

I have 2007 upper and lowers mounted on my 2009, I used the air ducts and fairing stay from the the 2007. They bolt on no problem at all, everything lines up perfectly.

I had a good 2009 tail so I used it on the 09 bike instead of trying the 2007 tail.... I do know for sure the whole sub-frame is different and I am 90% sure the tail is different, but I suspect with a little creativity it might go on, but I haven't tried it.

I tried fitting a 2008 tail to a 2007 - no dice, 08s onwards a lot flatter but I suspect going the other way will be no problem. Any idea if 08/09/10 uppers/lowers will fit 07s?

Based on what dammyneckhurts said, if you use the fairing stay and air ducts then it should work. I just picked up a set of '08 track bodywork so I may just stick to the '08+ look and put my '07 stuff as a back up set to to my back up set. LOL!
