Glad I wasn't in that group (admittedly, I'd be fairly miffed if some douchenozzle buzzed up the side of me at 110+), but I'd be happy "boy-racer" took the lead. Better ahead of the group and pitching his gixxer than buzzing around behind and doing stupid things. Crash aside, I was more upset about his pre-crash riding etiquette.

All in all, that kid got off pretty damn lucky. Watching that bike do a somersault up the hill from him was just plain nasty (I thought it was going to come back down on top of him). Here's hoping that crash was a wake-up call. Judging from his demeanor in the subsequent vid, I'm not convinced the lesson was learned. One can still hope.

Haha exactly what I was thinking. He says he was up in seconds and climbing up the hill. Then why did it sound like you were getting a prostate massage..?

Man was that go-pro mounted wrong cuz it looks like he wasn't looking far ahead enough. Looks like he's only looking pass his front tire.

I think a more basic understanding of how the bike turns would be more important to him than learning good trail braking technique.

I was reading the comments on youtube yesterday, and it's frightening the number of people who didn't give him shit. Scary stuff. Good reason to stay on goat trails.
