Ill be working out of some new places in the upcoming weeks and have no experience parking a motorcycle in any of them.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would be parking all day and dont need in and out privileges.
Ideally I would just park the bike and not have to move it all day.
Looking for cheap lots, garages, or street parking.

Any experience or tips and tricks for the following areas?
All would be about two weeks

1. The Marina at Fillmore and Greenwich

2. Nob Hill at Jones and Clay

3. Russian Hill at Hyde and Bay

Thanks guys

For metered motorcycle spaces:
1. Dollar coins
2. Preloading PayByPhone the parking payment app that SF uses.
3. Parking early and then checking the spot mid-day to see if it is one of those that fill up, or not.

for nob hill at jones and clay, u can park at Sutter Street parking garage and pay the single 7 dollar (??? cant remember) fee for the whole day. just ride around the lift-gate and park, then pay up front.

I would not suggested the bolded part. There is a guy with a speed triple out front of my work that gets so many tickets because the pay by phone system is fucked that he taped a HUGE note on the gas tank that reads "I pay by Pay by Phone, please stop giving me tickets".

Poor guy.

Awesome!!!
done with that location

If you need to use street metered parking for motos: Heads up!

I used the moto metered parking on 2nd St. at Market last week. I put in a crap load of quarters and ended up with 7.5 hours of time.
I set my timer on my phone so I could come out and put in more time if I needed.
I came out to check on my bike to put another hour of time into the meter. I should have had 1 hr 10 min left, but the meter said I had only 10 minutes left! :wtf

Meter probably needed to be reset or whatever, but yeah, just a heads up that the meter can be fucked up, so may want to check periodically.

Basically just be super paranoid - read every sign at least 3 times, set alarms, check back during the day.

Any excuse to give you a ticket - meter reset mid-day, another bike sharing your stall, overhanging a second stall, tire not touching the kerb, 1hr limit, 4hr limit, street cleaning at dd hours, rush hour tow away lane (that one is legit) - they will give you a ticket.

and don't park on the sidewalk!

Im not sure how kosher it will be for me to walk out and check my bike every 1 or 2.

I guess I should change my question to which garages to park at that allow all day parking and are bike friendly.
