dont worry about your safety, they supply everyone with vests.
Once in a lifetime sorta thingThat sounds awesome! I would go in a second, if I could afford it, and if I could get the time off. Neither of which is likely.
my aim is to pull it under a $1000.. for now around $1800-2000.. Next week i have meetings all through the week with potential sponsors.. If I get enough money I might pay some of your airfare toodo you at least have a ballpark estimate of the cost? This sounds pretty cool!
Not to rain on your parade guys, but do you really think that as American citizens it is a good idea to go to Pakistan? Really?

Don't end up on TV with your head in the next room.

I thought you were supply sergeant, so I gave a thought to going for about 4 seconds. My eyes are definitely the wrong color for that place, at this time.![]()

A quick check of some travel sites shows airfare from the Bay Area to Lahore in the neighborhood of $3,000. Fuuuuuck, that's a lot. Any lesser-known sites to check for travel to Pakistan?
If I wasn't a white boy with fiery red hair I would totally go. Call me paranoid but I don't want to end up missing. Really wish I could see that area, one day!

I would be so down for this if it wasn't in July.
I already have a trip planned int he middle of my project release at work.Damn. This would be fun as hell.
I think it's a dumb idea.
We got it. You can move on now and let people who aren't brainwashed by the media make the decision for themselves.
Thank you. Anything election you want me not do do, sweetie?
I have been there and Afghanistan, et al, more than once. If you just want to ride rocks and wagon-wheeled roads, there are thousands of miles in the Southwest United States. AT THIS TIME, I think it is a poor choice for an adventure......
If there was a problem i wouldnt ever invite anyone over.. Im way more whiter than most pakistanis and a lot of times locals think im American and still theyve been amazingly helpful.. Pakistan is a wonderful country with regular problem like every country has.. of course there are some no go areas just like you have in LA and Chicago etc.. soo dont imagine stuff,, come over and find it out yourself
i have green eyes and my brother has blue eyes and we both have traveled extensively up in the mountains on our bikes and never once had a problem.. brother has golden-ish hair too![]()
