Is, gasp, Moto3 the most entertaining moto racing?

I'm beginning to think so after watching Mugello.

At one point the announcer says "it's 6 abreast into that corner...last lap we had 7...pretty boring." :laughing

Prior to Mugello

0.64s – The total accumulated time separating the race winners from second place finishers in the five Moto3 races so far in 2014

Yes, yes it is

Moto3 is, BY FAR, the most entertaining. The grids are full and the bikes are even. From an entertainment standpoint, MotoGP is the most boring. This last race was great between Lorenzo and Marquez, but generally MotoGP is a snooze fest.

WSBK and AMA are more entertaining than MotoGP. Outside of the first three laps, watching paint dry tends to be more entertaining than MotoGP. Yes, the riders and the bikes are THE ULTIMATE, but the racing tends to be pretty damn boring.

I think a blade of grass separated the top three at Mugello! :laughing

What a race. :party

I haven't watched the Moto2 or MotoGP races from Mugello yet and, sure, their bikes are faster, the stakes are "higher" and the MotoGP bikes are made of unobtainium but who cares.

Give me more Moto3! :thumbup

Moto3 might be the most entertaining motorsport right now, based solely on the on-track action.

Add BSB and AMA Flattrack racing to that list.

Going to have to give it up to BSB, myself. I like the tracks better, too. Moto3 was pretty damn good this week. MotoGP was a good battle as well, I actually thought MM might not take it.

Supercross is to me.

Flat track is awesome also, but coverage could be way better!!

Isle of Mann and stuff. :hail

Of the road racing track stuff moto3 is got to be the most crazed, but I still need the biggest and baddest to get juiced up.

cadwell park is reason enough to love BSB :party

Watch Moto3!! If you think Moto2 and WSBK are entertaining, you're going to mess up your pants watching Moto3.

If my dvr is running low on space I will dump the GP race before I dump a moto 3 race I haven't seen.
Good stuff.
Moto2 would be at least 1 degree more watchable if Josh Herrin could get in to the top 15. Brutal beginning to his season.

What channel on direct tv and when?
Can't find it on a search.

fox 2 for moto2 and 3-fox 1 for motogp.motogp runs 5 am and then fox 2 runs moto2 and 3 in the afternoon.moto 3 rocks and those are the guys who are the future of motogp.

There was what, 13 bikes in the "lead draft" going into the last lap?

Can't get much better than that....

As a racer, there's nothing more exciting than a close-fought race; it's the best roadracing you can do by far...

The rest of the races? Snooze......zzzz

Moto3 qualifying can by outright comical in a pathetic way at times. Here are 21 riders riding slow on track trying to get a tow from Jack Miller this past weekend.

I hope you caught Rabat's flip out on track for riders trying to tow him. He was straight shaking his fists at the lot of them. :laughing

And the amazing thing is that while two or three 250 hp MotoGP bikes achieve lap times near the fastest, (1:47's at the last race), almost a dozen achieve near the fastest lap times in Moto3 during the race...with their massive 50hp.

Their fastest lap times at the last race were just 10 seconds slower than the very fastest GP bikes.

Hugely impressive to me. :thumbup
