Are you referring to the fact that the new MVs have a downshifting quickshifter? Mine doesn't have that.

Just to be clear, every MotoGP software engineer could decide to collaborate and develop the most comprehensive suite of motorcycle electronics imaginable making the bike effortless to ride fast, and I'd still NEVER get within 30 seconds of Marquez's lap time. Hell, Id probably be 40 seconds per lap slower. Didn't mean to imply he (or any MotoGP rider) isn't an absolute superhero.

nor did I! I was just pointing out that his bike is tuned and capable of such awesomeness. I was not trying to imply that it is/was what makes him fast.

indeed. Ive watched that clip before. he is a god

Always wanted to go to one of his clinics in KS.

from the looks of that video, it aint even about 'smooth brakes up until the apex'

its about, mash that fucking brake in a straight line and lift that rear wheel. at the last possible second, toss the bike over on its side, hope it sticks, and get back on the gas :rofl

Taking the pole from 7th place after changing bikes mid-race

Just unimaginable

You forgot, RUNNING down pit row to your backup bike.

its about, mash that fucking brake in a straight line and lift that rear wheel. at the last possible second, toss the bike over on its side, hope it sticks, and get back on the gas

He does that shite enough that it's almost routine. Why waste time putting the rear down, just turn in on the front and the rear will follow. Simple :). I swear he crashes all the time, he just never falls off. Yes I have a serious man crush.

Friend of mine back in the day had an 1/8th scale gas powered RC race buggy. That sucker had a lot of aluminum, it had mass and was fast. I would not want to have been hit by one like that guy got hit in the leg.

Shame about that Lancaster too…

And sticks the landing! I had a border collie that could do that with a frisbee. Now my dog's idea of a trick is running into the screen door head first. 'Whoa, who put that there again'.

Lived in Oregon and had two dogs, a Shepard and a Mutt. Mutt was a lab, Pitt mix and was strong as an ox and dumber than a stump. In Oregon everyone had double pain windows and sliding glass doors. We would ask the dogs to go outside, we would all head for the sliding glass doors, open one and mid stride the Mutt would slam into the second sliding glass door. Poor Sarge, happened more often than not.
