Yea, that's not what happened. He was merging in to a newly created lane. That truck had to cross all of that crossed up/striped turning stuff. That truck simply shouldn't have been in that lane-that-does-not-exist-yet.

Should the cyclist have looked? But there should have been nothing to look for. But he absolutely had right of way the entire time.

This was my interpretation, unless they were on a freeway in which case they shouldn't be there at all. :dunno
 
The truck drove over the gore point trying to pass the bicyclist on the right from what I saw. 199% the truck's fault, throw the book at the bastard.

The bicyclist should have had a LOT more situational awareness, if he's not dead he's extremely lucky. If he survived, I hope he learned from his mistake.

dont be douchey. the cyclist was trying to get over onto the shoulder so the guy behind him could pass and then out of nowhere the angry truck barrels past him on the right hand side. what if you were on your motorcycle trying to pull over to the side of the road and that shit happened? youd be like "oh my god what an asshole trucker" but since its a cyclist, its automatically his fault.

i really really cant wait for gas to be 20 bucks a gallon. get dipshits off the road that dont belong there. everyone's in such a fucking hurry to save a few seconds of their shitty lives so they can get home and check their facebook.

Has nothing to do with saving a few seconds. How about this, get your self important ass the fuck out of the way. Of course it is the cycylists fault, cyclists need to go play on bicycle tracks or whatever over bullshit kids toys like bicycles are are supposed to be ridden on. Roads are for going top speed screaming at the top of your lungs with your head on fire and if you are not charging to the front, get the fuck out of the way for the guys who are. Shared roads mean nobody gets to set the pace for anybody else, stay out of the damn way.

Also, fuck speed limits, always. ;)
