>>> FREE ANNUAL DYNO-DAY @ NorCal-Cycles 12/5/2015 <<<

That's an awesome thing to do, thanks nor cal , I have a BMW S1000R I'd like to get a baseline before I get a power commander

very inciting....

:party:party:party

I wonder what my CBR1000RR is actually putting to the rear tire?

No need to wonder, no need to guess... come on through for the REAL numbers:ride

following

:thumbup

Wonder if I should show up, I think I almost broke the dyno last year. My bike blew smoke out worse than cheech and chong on the dyno. Fun event, I don't have nothing to prove though, I'll keep my 28hp.

:thumbup:teeth

Sweet I'll be there. Is it first come first serve in person? Or will you guys possibly do a sign up in advance.

It is first come first serve basis, there will be a sign in clip board when you arrive:cool

someone gotta have an H2 or H2r they need to test....:teeth

One of our regulars has an H2, don't know if he will be attending event:p

Can you provide a readout of the torque curve?

It will just be a baseline HP dyno run only:):)

Who wants to watch a completely-stock, 45 hp restricted grey-market two-stroke make... 45 hp? :D

I'm tempted to get my DL650A V-Strom tested for fun. According to the conventional wisdom on the Strom sites the best way to improve the Power/Weight ratio on the Strom is to lose that 20lb spare tire around the waist. I guess I'll have to pass on the BBQ hot dogs.

Hm... if El Nino doesn't ruin everything, I'm curious what my 848 is putting down.

Yup, we are betting the drought is probably going to continue... :burnout

If that 45hp is magazine numbers, it will be less on the dyno... We've had plenty of curious owners with small bikes and scooters here on dyno days:teeth:teeth:teeth

Thanks for the dyno runs, food, and hospitality.

Did a couple runs, one with the akrapovic db killer installed, and one with it removed. I learned that the difference was approximately 5 hp on the top end.

It was a great time checking out all the bikes and chatting with a bunch of the riders.

I also learned that bikes putting out anything over 120db on the dyno was extremely loud. 117-120db was standard for most of the bikes with stock or aftermarket exhaust. A GSXR600 with shorty exhaust set the record at 127.7db.

It looked like everyone had a good time.

I also want to thank those from NorCal-Cycles for putting this on. :thumbup

I would like to see everyone's "scores" for their runs.

My XR650L hit 41.6 hp for all three runs. I'm happy with that. :teeth

The other XR650L that ran right after mine which was pretty much the same tuning - even the same year - but with a stock 100mm piston instead of my 102.41mm 10.5:1 piston produced just a hair under 35.6

I need to thank Steve, the XR650 engine guru, for the extra six horsepower.

So let's have a few other hp numbers. :cool

I also had the james bond smoke screen on my XR! haha

awesome day, glad I brought my XR versus my other bikes

thanks norcal cycles, you guys are great. love coming every year to see all the big WHP bikes

Thanks to the norcal cycles guys for hosting! My KTM 690 Enduro made 59.5 hp with a slip on :)

Damn, totally forgot about this. Surprised no one setup a group ride to or from this event (otherwise I would've been reminded about it):teeth
