The bike with the ohlins does sit higher than stock. I don't sit flat footed on it. I'm about 5'5"
 
I love the SVS, and managed to disappoint mine a couple of days ago (crash report) although she had been behaving beautifully all morning. I might be looking for a replacement, depending on what insurance says. What's the "leo full system"?

Do you keep records of maintenance work?

Leo Vince full exhaust system. As far as the bike being maintained the seller has a stellar rep and would never sell you a bike that is anything less than impeccable

It's only got 3000 miles so no matinance records. Changed the oil 5 times since I bought it new. I did change the sparkplugs 500 miles ago, even though it didn't need it. Been using repsol semi synthetic. Did all the upgrades myself. Leo vince full exhaust system.

Oh! I didn't realize it was such low mileage... my 04 has ~36K ;) I'll be calling my insurance later today. Have no clue how long the process is (first crash), but will keep you updated in either direction.

Thanks; I like records (a spreadsheet or even hand-written notes) just to know what has been done and when I have to inspect/replace rather than either just riding it until a problem arises (not the best idea) or very time consuming inspecting the whole bike.

I noticed the seller has a lot of badges under his avatar :thumbup

The bike has to go to a shop where they will get an estimate on the damage. Once done they will contact the insurance co. or the other way around. They ins. company will determine if it's totaled or not. If it is they will tell you what the bike was worth pre crash and offer you that in the settlement. If both side agree, They cut you a check. Shouldn't take more than a week. print out some ads of svs similar yo yours that are for sale. Just so you have reference on what the going rate is. Of coarse they will deduct for mileage. For the next 30 days, I'll be accepting reasonable offers via p.m. If it doesn't sell by then I'll be pulling it off the market and making it a race bike
fyi KBB for a "stock" sv with an average of 13800 miles is
$2995 trade in
$4360 retail

sweet ride, Art. wish I had about the four strong to buy such an immaculate and low mileage ride, especially with the front end upgrade.
