and you didn't take the RC51?

Oh good god no. I would have turned around after we hit Carmel. That bike is not really designed to ride 2-up. :laughing

That was very kewl.

My BF rode from Palo Alto to Watertown, NY and took all of maybe two pictures. I wasn't able to go with him, so I wonder what he was REALLY up to out there.......then again he made the whole trip in three days.

Thx for sharing.

Nice trip

Now that was some riding. I thought it was a long day when I rode to Boise Idaho from San Francisco in 12 hours straight. Only stopping for gas. You got me beat. Oh ya props to Kim for being on the back for a long ass trip like that. My wife said she would NEVER ride on my sport bike to Tahoe with me again. ( I don't know why :confused )

Awesome and beautiful scenery. Makes us feel lucky we have that so close.....

Thank you for sharing. Now I know you were serious when you mentioned you were doing this ride. Glad you made it through! Yes, always carry a tiny bottle of solution to clean the visor (2-3 drops of dish soap with water works great), and a microfiber cloth to wipe clean. Cheap, works great!

See you around the meets and maybe some rides!

That's awesome!!! My girl complains about sitting on the back for more than 60 min at a time. She quirmed the whole way back from a bethel island day trip! Great pics and thanks for the writeup :thumbup

whoo, man. Yah, that desert heat will get ya. the bugs too. (I was cleaning off bugs like that pretty much every 100 miles...)
