Just sent my $230 to ApexTrackDays. Expecting a followup email from them to confirm group and barf membership. Werid thing was, the Paypal form didnt let me put notes in there like I normally do when paypalling money.

Looking forward to seeing you all out there. Ill be the slow one in Red & White :thumbup

The emails were sent to the people who used PayPal so we could obtain the needed info. I know he got all your info over the phone.

Im feeling lazy so literally im staying at the Lazy Inn where Dar and D10redwolf have a reservation. Its like a 40 room hotel but theyre supposed to have microwaves and fridges so that aint so bad.

ANYONE WHOS LOOKIG FOR A ROOM STILL, SHARE MINE! $62.15 FOR BOTH NIGHTS AND U ARE 5 MIN FROM THE TRACK!!! MEET ME UP THERE OR I CAN POSSIBLY DRIVE YOU AND YOUR BIKE (if we can fit it in my shortbed )


Thanks for the info Quinn, it just seems like for weekends and if there are local events going on, hotels can charge whatever they want cuz they know people will pay it.

i just spoke to the guys from apex track days....there are still a few spots available both days in both groups. $115 a day how can you go wrong? come on out! Quinn
 
Few more days... Hopefully up there it wont be as hot as it is down here last couple days.

Man, Im so tired, I barey have enough juice left in my own batteries to write this out. You all know what a drain the track is and add ontop of that the heat up there and a 4+ hr drive back home.... anyway, I just wanted to say what an awesome time I had this weekend! Apex Track Days were helpful, organized, and just plain SUPER nice to talk to. For such a small crew they did a lot and things went off smoothly (other than people not staying on the track Saturday!
:p )

Thanks also to all the people I met up there, it was super fun and I hope yo see ya soon. Quinn is definitely a huge asset to have on your side, and even tho he had a blowed up 636, managed to get a bike to come out and show us some lines on (the bastard's home track IS Fernley!) . Ill be doing some trackdays w/ him in the future. Sorry about your bike man! It was sooo sweet looking, hope you find your engine!

Finally got my freaking knee's down. One would have been good, but i got some scuffed off the left as well. Caint wait to do it more :teeth Also, Im really impressed with the Bridgestone BT014 tire that Apexer recommended. They hardly show any wear from the two days.

Unfortunately, the pics Ditto from GotBlueMilk took were not of my best riding, at least I got one really good one for my $. It was when I was pretty dang close tho!!

Huge thanks to Apex crew for putting it together!

Good weather, few people and lot's of track time - what a great way to spend a weekend... :D

Well organized weekend and we even had a chance to see current track record holder clickign off some hot laps and backign it in into turn 1 at 140+ :wow

Thanks again to all the Apex folks coming all the way from Utah for this excellent weekend at the track.

Special thanks to Quinn for showing the lines and helping to sort out the suspension of my RR. Good luck with getting your bike goign again.
 
I agree with everything said. Good time had by all. Not a bad time for my son to have his first track experience. I guess hanging off to reduce lean angle was in the next lesson plan, huh guys? :teeth

I guess the track cleanup went well. I wish we could have stayed for all of Saturday, but I decided to listen to that little inner voice. Now I need to get Steven back out as soon as possible.

Those are some good pix! I've got some I thought were worth posting, but I haven't figured out how to post them yet??? I'm glad you guys had a good time. I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet everyone in person.
