Hmm, I could probably make this. Have you thought about going up Diablo? It's a fun road, awesome views. I think it's $7 or $10 to get in.

Thanks everyone for coming, it was fun ;) sorry that u guys had to wait on me, but im not used to riding so fast lol

No worries!
My bike overheated on the ride home. A little cool-down time, a little bottled water and all was good.

we stayed out a lil too late last night but I wish i could've made it. let me know if you guys do it again

:( ditched on your own group ride

i didnt ditch... when i created the ride i said a few times it was a casual ride.. but the guys that showed up had like 20+ years exp riding... and ive only been riding for a year - so they were riding way more aggressive. usually i ride at around speed limit or less down that road

whoops.
didn't think we were riding all that fast. most of the way on marsh creek and morgan, I kept it close to the limit.
it wasn't until that speed demon on the goldwing passed me that we started to haul ass! :rofl

and we weren't really riding "aggresively". like you noted, we have more experience, so our comfortable speed on any given road is a little faster than yours. we didn't wait very long at the stop, you weren't going that slow.

Let us know when you go out again, I'll go for sure if the day is sunny and I have no plans or work. Im just starting out im about three months in as I have mentioned but have progressed at an impressive rate (I tend to pick things up faster than most). I know there is much to learn though and am humbled by all this. Just hopped on 580 freeway yesterday doing 65mph to 70 from Richmond Parkway/Great Highway all the way to Central Ave to Point Isabelle dog park and back. Made my first lane chage to overtake a truck and tanker truck on the right lane :)

I am strictly speed limit to slow down dude though, especially in twisties ill tend to slow down more as far as I have seen myself riding so far. Blind curves I am definetely slowing down but I will still keep my throttle open.

Plus we both have 250's the ninja and the cbr, how cool is that :)

as long as the guy in front of you isn't going too fast, it's nice to have a lead rider to watch go through the curves. you can see if it tightens up, or if it stays open all the way through.

No, I was saying it sounds like you got ditched.

It also sounds like it was a fun ride. Hopefully it'll stay dry over winter break so I can actually meet some other riders and ride :)

Lets try to set up a ride for this coming sunday, according to the accuweather.com sunday is a FULL day of sun.
