You know how Ducati styles their bikes, with the beautiful paint, and fine lines and curves?

This is...not that.

This GSA seems very German.

and... a bit of overkill. Someone will love it though and I am sure it is a fine machine.
I mean, I've seen the Harleys (thery're not dreadful, save I don't care for the Cylon headlight).

But I've never really seen a square motorcycle before. And that's, at a glance, what this looks like to me -- square and blocky.

(Actually, now that I think of it, I recall...something from the past, but I couldn't say what it is. Some vintage thing.)

K-bikes had rectangular engines. Not the first time BMW has though rectangles were cool.

600 pound dirt bike is an oxymoron!

It has an auto-dial emergency 911 feature. If you tip over while riding it, you have like 20 seconds to disable the autodialer (a button near the kill switch). So during the 49er GS Giants skills course there were a couple of guys on these and they dropped their bikes a few times during their runs. One of them was rigged up with a wireless mike so the crowd could hear his comments as he navigated the course (it was very difficult). He dumps the bike, and the next thing you know we hear him telling a 911 operator, “No, I’m fine. Just a minor tip over.” Pretty funny. (BMW’s answer to those TV ads for the “Help. I’ve fallen and I can’t get back up” thingies? :drool )

I can't decide if I like it other than not liking the new headlights. But I guess it doesn't really matter as I don't have 30k to drop on a bike.

Air Head
Oil Head
Hex head

In the naming convention of the R bikes will this one be... Block Head?
