That is one sweet ride. Are those Toomy pipes? That is real nice, the daytona head is also a nice little touch.

Here is my beautiful wife's (almost) as equally beautiful, plated RS250. She only lets me ride it to the gas station and back :cry

Man, we got some really cool rides in this thread.
Keep 'em coming people!
Roundboyfriend (are you married yet?),
The sub 500 2 strokes are plenty powerful, but the real performance advantage is the light weight and corner speed of these machines.
What's the wet weight of some of you guys 250's?

I do not know how much my NSR250 weighs. But I do know that no GSXR can keep up with it in a corner. Been to Sears and T-Hill with it to find that one out.
Here is a picture of it with it's cloths off.

These were taken right after I got done with the new paint job. It is a rattle can job too. When I got it, it was wearing beat up cracked and rashed Rothmans clothing like the above bike. But WAYYYY uglier. Te pipes were rusted and tyhe gauge pack was zip tied on. The engine wasd seized and the front cylinder destroyed. I put in a SP motor with the dry clutch. The big plus is it is sittimg on a set of magtek magnesium wheels. It started life as an R model. I am doing similar work to the NS400R.
