For sale: 2007 Aprilia SXV 450 supermoto with under 50 hours total on the bike, for off-road use only (says so on frame). I purchased this bike (along with an sxv550 and another frame) disassembled in boxes and built it up to race, but never ended up doing that. Its been sitting in my garage for the past 6 years after putting it together and just recently did I decide to get it running again.
The good:
- Under 50 total hours on the bike since new, and a total of two track days have been had on this bike before going into storage 6 years ago. I just recently flushed everything to get it back to running condition.
- Everything is completely factory stock, and this bike has the factory race harness installed, so there's no chance of putting an instrument cluster or lights on it.
- Fresh oil (engine & transmission)
- Fresh chain & chain guides.
- Comes with a box of spares from both my 450 and 550, all yours, including a power commander, several sets of sprockets, some plastics, another seat, and another set of brake rotors. Note: Stand not included, sorry!
- The engine is one of the SN 3000+ motors that don't have the orange RTV that caused issues in some earlier models
The bad:
- Some components were swapped between this bike and my SXV550 before I sold that one. Parts that are not brand new originals: side (red) plastics, brake lever, shift lever, ignition switch harness (thats the little red loopback "key" you see hanging off the clutch lever).
- Bike comes with NO TITLE, bill of sale only. Pull up the VIN on any registry and it'll show as never registered anywhere in the US, ever.
