Feeler #2. I'd like to keep the bike until October. However, if you absolutely must have it today, it can go.
BARF price today is $2,600. BARF price in October is $2,200. If nothing lines up, the bike will be in the City with my favourite and greatest tech in the whole wide world.
I bought the bike last year with approximately 34,000 miles. It presently has approximately 36,800 miles. Last year's pics are mostly applicable, except I didn't buy the rear case.
Highlights:
- Ohlins rear shock, Mupo valves in the front, set for 170-190 lbs rider
- PC5 (mapped on a dyno) to smooth out fuel delivery in every part of the rev range
- ABS
- BMW front 'tank' bag
- Full Remus exhaust with carbon fibre end can (it sounds lovely)
- BMW trip computer with averages, gas gauge, gear indicator, etc
- Adjustable factory levers
- Bar risers (mild) to balance riding position, which is on the sporty side of "neutral"
- Dual USB plugs, battery tender leads (for the plugs, or heated gear, or whatever)
- New front Michelin Pilot Road 5
- New battery
- LED headlight
- 50+ MPG
- Parked indoors and on a battery tender since at least the previous owner
- Large box full of goodies, tools, parts, tender, cover, etc, included
Disclosures:
- I had a slow speed lowside. All parts replaced with OE parts, and painted at a proper automotive body shop.
- The OE Brembo were too strong for me, and a small culprit of the lowside. With my tech, we found a good braking power with a mix of sintered and resin brake pads. All other pads come with the bike for you to choose what's best for you.
- The rear tyre air pressure monitor is not working. The plan is to fix it when it's time for a new rear tire.
- Shifting is in GP pattern. (Jorge told me to.) It takes just a few minutes to flip it. If you absolutely cannot test ride it around the block in GP pattern, I need 2 days notice. And it also means you really want to buy. No wankers, please.
- Rear stand NOT included.
