sucks to hear Greener. we'll see you on the Hawthorne rally, and around SF.

speaking of SF, to any and all rally participants that are in the San Francisco or nearby areas (hell, anyone that wants to for that reason), why don't you guys come on out to the SF Wed travel meet @ the Riptide that is going on tonight.

It would be a great way to go over routes, chit chat about plans, back ups, gear, etc...while having a beer or two in a cool bar out in the sunset with some barfers. :)

edit: Seriously, to the folks considering dropping out. I get it, how the thought of riding in cold and miserable conditions doesn't seem like much of a vacation. Thing is, IME it's never near as cold, or miserable as you think it's going to be, and every BARF rally I've been to has been a blast.

Trust me on this. Suck it up and just go...most likely the weather will be pretty good. Most likely you'll have a lot of fun, and guaranteed it'll better than staying home.

At this point, I have to say I'm out. :|
Fuckity Fuck Fuck.

No improvement at all. I tried to move the bike around in the garage last night and cannot manage on one leg. The calf cannot handle much more than a toe touch. I have a 10 day ride to Utah in a month and the Tough Mudder in September.....as much as I wanted this trip I can't risk causing any more damage. If I wake up on Friday and can manage stairs, all bets are off though.

Sorry to hear about the leg.. sucks.

I have a little sore throat and ear infection, but I am just going for it.. worst case Sat. I hang in the room or whatever.
