The picture: my family with a couple friends and cousins who came over to see us off.

Day 1
The first day of my adventure started off with an amazing press conference fill with great food and an amazing ambiance. I am so thankful to my sponsors Elan, Panther Tyres, Ravi Piaggio, and Nirala Sweets for helping me make this next adventure possible.

Michael, Kyle, and I finally got home around 7 in the evening and immediately started to pack. Our brand new Piaggio Storm motorcycles were waiting for us in Islamabad. As we waved goodbye to my family members who came to see us off, and just before we left Lahore, I decided that we needed to make one last stop. The van made a detour to Liberty and before long we had paratha rolls in front of us. "What the hell is this? It's delicious!" Was the first thing out of Michael's mouth after he took the first bite.

After 4 hours, We entered Islamabad that was overtaken by a rainstorm, an appropriate greeting for the bikes we are to ride on. The Piaggio Storms are perfect for the roads here, but we're planning to test them on the mountain terrains. Bikes, luggage, and tools are all strapped on to our rides, and we ride in 2 hours.

The guys are snoring away, and I have less than two hours to rest up before hitting the road again!

I'll try to update as much as possible, and I know everyone will understand the extra precaution I'll be taking to be a little more discrete about this trip. I cannot wait to get on the bike and vroommmm!

Woah...isn't that the road the Discovery Channel had a show about 4 Americans driving trucks over? :shocker

Gnarly road...should be great on a bike!
 
Once we got into the hills we were greeted with fantastic roads. The views are spectacular. On our trip up we had to cut our journey short due to torrential rain. The people are really awesome. Currently I am overlooking a river valley and eating delicious food
 
Breakfast this morning was omelettes, parathas, chai, and an earthquake! We all bolted out of our chairs as the roof shook loudly, and then had a big laugh.

Yesterday's ride along the river to get here was amazing. I took some helmet cam video of that part.
