Imagine yourself racing down the track on a this hawt, sexy, potent Italian sports bike. A piece of art if you will.

I helped out my neighbor on a couple of jobs over the years and he in turn gave me this gorgeous thing.

The back story on it is that my neighbor collects vintage rally cars. This bike was included in a collection he purchased several years ago. The collection was shipped from Japan. AFAIK this bike came from Japan and was subsequently titled with a Wisconsin "rebuilt salvage" title. I have no clue if it will smoothly pass through CA DMV and have reflected this in the price.

Any desire I had of ever riding this bike has has evaporated as I realize I am old, slow and not prepared to ride a bike like this one. It comes with spares.

I'm asking $3500 and will contribute to BARF.

Can I come touch it?

I will clean the under tail splash up. Up and down the street is all it took for me to realize it will e happier with someone else.

Can I purchase the plate? PLEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE!!!!

I'd get the bike but I'm currently at my D-1 number ;)

I see you're off Elk Mountain now....when did you move up there? I'm just west of you in Clovertuckey

IIIRC I gave you a piece of material a couple of years ago. I think I deserve some consideration in trade. :). Of course, I am kidding. Seriously, this is a beautiful bike. I too would be classed as slow and old. If I can make room in a garage I might reach out. GLWS in any case!

Open to offers. I’m hoping to get to DMV with the title to see if there’s any way to get a CA plate.

You sir....have a pm.

ttt

This bike does NOT have appropriate sticker for CA registration. Looks like every state bit this one would register this thing with current Wisconsin title.

Make an offer, make an appointment get it out of the shop.

Interesting.
Bummer about the CA title

I Wonder how it does in the woods or on single track

I feel the only mileage (under 7k) is the only thing holding it back? You just need the right agent at a AAA office to register it. When I registered my FZ years ago I just stated the mileage and they never even stepped outside to look at it.

Isn't it 7500 miles?

Also I believe the bike still needs federal emission stickers to pass the 7500 mile rule

It’ll get through with the emission stickers it has (I think) but it lacks a CA compliance.

If your wife is mad at you, you should go out and buy yourself a motorcycle.

Your wife will still be mad at you, but at least you'll have a new motorcycle
I never stated that she is mad at me. She is not happy. Never was happy when I was riding the Beemer, Buell and Ducati, and was happy when they were all gone. Um, well, er, we all have differing views re: relationships and ...... stuff. I know mine, you know yours. 'Saul Goodman.

AAA told me they can't register out of sate bikes. YMMV.
