Holy laziness batman! I posted this thread and then totally became preoccupied with a bunch of other things.

Anyways, bike is still for sale. I've only done a few hundred miles since I last posted so it's now 2800ish.

I've a 2005 CBR F4i. If I put it in gear (with kick-stand on), it shuts off immediately. Surprised the new bikes don't have that..

I shut off my engine before I put the stand down.

Maybe I should change my habits. :\

P.S. It's like how I shut off my engine before I pull the parking brake. Hmmm.........

Who says this one doesn't? I'm pretty sure it does. It is possible to forget to put the kickstand *down* with the engine already off.

Kickstand in gear will kill the ignition.

And I've done this to my Daytona too. Except the kick stand didn't go down all the way and folded back up, but it was too late to keep from dropping it. Oh well. Wasn't the first time
