2016 BMW R1200RS (sold)
Name
Rod
Asking $5,000 $3,500 OBO.

Just had BMW replace the final drive (free maintenance for life for this generation, btw). Front tire is a little low, rear still has plenty of life left. Have maybe 5k miles on the rear.

I still ride this occasionally, so miles will slowly go up. However, with gas prices lately, I've been driving my Tesla more since I have free supercharging on it. The bike gets about 46 mpg during my commute, so gas isn't crazy, but still can't beat free charging lol.

-Side bags are included (top box is not, but I do have a spare 47L that's missing the key that I can throw in)
-Nav V with mount
-Tank bag is included, fair warning tho, it has some cracks in the top vinyl window.
-I might have extra oil and/or air filters and various other maintenance items that I'll throw in as well
-valves adjusted a few months ago
-oil changed about a month ago
-66,847 miles

EDIT 2: REDUCED PRICE. I want this gone so I can get my next bike. I want electric, cuz fuck gas prices…
EDIT 3: REDUCED PRICE: $4300, see post below.
EDIT 4: Price drop.
EDIT 5: Added images.

BUMP.

So, bad news for me, maybe good news for whoever wants to buy. Just a few days after listing this, the bike tipped over on my driveway. Broken mirror, some scuffs on the right side case, engine guard, and a small part of the front fairing. I’ll update with pics after I stop kicking myself.

I ordered a new mirror but shipping is going to take 2-3 weeks.

One last thing, the bike now has a custom shorty front brake lever.

Open to offers, hope this doesn’t potential buyers. This is still my favorite bike out of the 4 I’ve owned so far. If it was electric, I’d be keeping it.

Bump for another price drop. Now asking $3500 OBO.

Edited to add photos of damage and replaced mirror.

Bumping this because it's a great all-around everything bike, for an Excellent price.

Great price for a nice bike. FYI to who every gets this. The BMW bag and top box locks can be easily rekeyed. I totaled my S1000XR. Kepted the bags and top box. Lock cyclinder can be removed with a bent paperclip, that is what I used on mine. Youtube University will show you how and how do do a rekey.

Bump.

Also, I’m getting ready to list my 2007 F800S as a project bike. Currently not running, but it will start with starting fluid. Tried replacing the fuel pump, which didn’t work. Next best guess is the fuel controller. If you’re interested in the R1200RS, I’ll throw in the F800S for free, along with all my spares, service manual, etc. Ive got new fork seals, parts for valve adjustment, spare rear wheel bearing assemblies, and a ton of other parts.

I'm honestly a little surprised how little interest I've gotten on this. I paid just under $9k when I bought this with 44k miles and thought that was a great deal. Was hoping this would be a quick sale, but I guess not?

Honestly the only big con for me was the final drive maintenance, but that is a non-issue now that BMW is doing free lifetime checks and replacements.

Traffic has been getting bad again so I've taken it out a on a couple rides to work and almost forgot how much more fun being on a 2 wheels is.

I am very open to offers. Worst I can say is no. Hell, if anything you might even walk away with an F800S for free even you don't buy this bike. Maybe....

Might help if you list at other places such as Facebook Marketplace.

Sold for $3k! Sent 2% to budman.
