Howdy! Just bought a ‘16 super duke R from right here on BARF. Thx barf!
I am new to modern KTM s Bike is stock
Bike has abs, mtc, sumo mode
Also sport street rain mode
I currently have it : sport
Abs off
Mtc off
Bike will come up mildly in 1st and that’s it
I read on forums that there is a “track pack” for 17 and up and ( I think ) a dongle for years before to “ unlock the nanny state”
Is there a code or way for me to tell if it’s done or do I need a dealer to read it? Do indy shops have this ability?

I’m in SF and know of scuderia. Any other recommendations in Bay Area ?
Thx!

Can't help with your question, but on the street, always run with ABS on.

With the dongle it will read something about 'Not legal' when the key is turned on.

But with MTC off I think it should wheelie freely.. but I only know the 2017+ bikes.

Thx! Must be stock. Wheel won’t come more than 1 foot off the ground. Even cresting a hill

If MTC is off the TC is off. You should see the light lit on the dash when TC is off. You have to hold it for a number of seconds and sometimes it doesn’t want to turn off for reasons (you have to have the bike running, it cannot be rolling, must be in neutral, clutch cannot be in, throttle cannot be applied, flicking the brakes will cause it to not apply, etc).

If TC is off? The bike will loop on you. If you haven’t ridden it with the TC off before, take it easy, the TC really does a lot to make the bike usable in first gear. Mine would wheelie through 5th on the power with some body English.
