Guess I'm boring. I just go with VTI, VTSAX and QQQ.
Solid plan; boring can be good.Guess I'm boring. I just go with VTI, VTSAX and QQQ.
Anyone dabble in qqqi?

It's a covered call etf, so the fees and the at-what-cost is supposed to come in the form of stability being able to generate revenue in a bear market (without micromanagement) whereas another 2008 and just holding stocks could leave you without any revenue at all for five or six years. I think I want something like qqqi, but more tied to the euro, or euro defense.....or maybe just for the euro to take a shit, that would work too.QQQ 12-month return = 23.6% + a 0.47% dividend
QQQI 12-month return = 5:8% + a 13.65% dividend
QQQ is the winner there. Yeah I understand QQQI's objective is to generate high income, for retirees I guess, but at what cost?
Not to mention their fee is more than 3 times higher than QQQ's
Yep.Every strategy works great when times are great, but there's far more exposure when only owning a handful of stocks when one of the specifics has a problem. There's been literally no skill required for 17 years.
I’m sticking with the buy the leaders strategy.

What are leaders though?
