2026/2027 NFL Thread

That was an expensive "outing" for him.

Idiot.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York has been suspended for six regular-season games and fined $500,000 for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, the league announced Friday.

York was slapped with the penalties two months after he was arrested Aug. 23 in Ohio on suspicion of engaging in prostitution.

Let the "Curse of Jed" commence.

:laughing
Go Raiders!!!

It's just sports, don't get too mad.

Anybody watching the early game? Darius Cooper made a hell of a catch In the end zone. Iggles are a little banged up at the moment. I’m concerned :laughing

Welp, that was reminiscent of my childhood eagles fandom :laughing

The Rams hung in there. Iggles need an ambulance. Woof.

Congratulations to the 9ers, my donkeys couldn’t come back in this one.

Game was a chore but ended in a predicted final score.

Denver defense was touted to be better, and Bo Nix is the kind of quarterback that, historically, has given the Niners fits.

Forty-Niner defense continues to bend and no break.

4-0!

Kittle outrunning the backfield made my day. I hope an interviewer gets a candid emotional response about that. Those backs are going to be running all week.

I was there, that was an excellent game, much closer than the score would suggest.

Also Niner fans, you are welcome.

I am baffled by the NYG leading the NFC East right now, but grateful for this easy stretch of schedule while we eventually prepare to start JJ McCarthy.

@Eldritch, I was soooo close to buying tickets and then last night I found out my best friend from high school up was going to the game.

The Broncos got bit by the Santa Clara injury bug too, both starting d-backs out at the end of the first half. I hope PS2 isn’t to banged up but from the look of his limping off the field it’s not promising. Our first half of the season is against the top tier of the NFL.

I'm OTA TV antenna but don't get CBS so I was radio only for the first half. I decide to go to a restaurant bar to catch the second half finish. I get a beer and start chatting with the other patrons. Two guys at the bar were actually at the Niners game but bailed early beause it was too damn hot. The second half was great and a good time. Yes, Kittle out running DBs to seal the game was a highlight.

Evans impressed the hell out of me with his play and broken ribs.

Winning by 3 is good if it gets you to 4-0.
